Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's greatest athletes. Biles was the first gymnast from the United States in history to have won four gold medals at a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to ever win successive World All-Around championships. Biles lived in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time she and her sister Adria had been adopted by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics when she was when she was six years old on a field trip to school at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next 11 years. Biles won a gold medal in vault, as well as a gold medal on the floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She began participating in the elite level of gymnastics competition. Biles was a dominant athlete within a mere two years. Her consistency, her vivacious personality and the level of effort for her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- set her above the others.
