Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known for her role as the main character of Fox's House medical drama. In a strictly Jewish childhood she was able to move from Wayne to New York City when she was just 18 years old to go to the Tisch School of Arts. The school quickly became a fixture in the club scene in New York. The performances she gave were so good that even the local press noticed. Her experiences as well as her celebrity to create and write a musical titled Positive Me, and she also played a role in. Shortly thereafter she landed the job of MTV as host of Awake in the Wild Side. When it ended up going off the show, she started appearing in films and television production at first in small roles before establishing herself as an actor.
