
American actor Thomas William Selleck. His most recognizable part was as Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988) and for which he was awarded five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead actor in a Drama Series and won in 1985. From 2010 to 2010, Selleck has played New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. Since 2005, he's been playing Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief in a small town New York City. He has also appeared in nine television shows that are based on Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also played the role as Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Three Men and a Little Lady (90).
